About Unfold
Unfold is a private breakup recovery service for adults. It provides automated emotional-wellness support, reflective conversation, practical breakup-recovery planning, and progress tools.
Who may use Unfold
Unfold is available only to adults age 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Nature of the service
Unfold is not a person, therapist, medical provider, law firm, emergency service, or substitute for professional care. The service does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Coins and messages
A text message with a coach response costs 100 coins. A voice note with transcription and a coach response costs 200 coins. Prices are shown before sending and may be changed for future purchases. System errors and safety messages do not consume coins.
Payments
Coin packs are one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions, and coins do not expire while the account remains active. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Acceptable use
Do not use Unfold to threaten, harass, stalk, manipulate, impersonate, evade another person’s boundaries, or obtain instructions for harm. We may suspend accounts used in these ways.
Safety
Unfold is not designed for emergencies. If you may be in immediate danger or unable to remain safe, contact local emergency services or a trusted person who can be physically present.
Account deletion
You may delete conversation history or your account in Settings. Some payment and security records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
